Our other major function is Critical Care.

Critical care is treatment of the sickest of pets and requires the provision of constant intensive care. Hopefully your pet will never need to use this equipment, but you can rest assured we are fully equipped to treat critically ill patients.

• Direct arterial blood pressure
• Positive pressure ventilation or respirators
• Chest drainage suction units
• Enteral feeding and parenteral feeding catheters and diets
• Oxygen therapy

Every pet that is critically ill will likely need the assistance of a team of doctors. Where needed, we are supported by the specialists and consultants from the Melbourne Veterinary Specialist Centre. The MVSC run a day hospital from our premises. This is another way we can provide your pet with total veterinary care.
